Rebekah D. Wilson
Actress / Teaching Artist
A native of Washington, DC, Rebekah has been working for over ten years as a professional and amateur actress, dancer, director, stage manager, and instructor. She began her teaching career at the age of 13 by teaching dance in local studios around the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area and trained as a professional dancer as a Dance Major in Howard University’s Dance Program. After an injury, Rebekah left the world of professional dance, but she never stopped her passion for teaching. Soon after, she also discovered a new passion: Theater. She combined her loves of theatre and teaching and trained in the Theater Education Major Program at Howard and at the New York Film Academy's Acting Program in New York City. In May of 2012, Rebekah received a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in Theatre Education from Howard University in Washington, DC.

Shortly after, Rebekah left DC to continue her education. In 2014, she received her Masters Degree in Educational Theatre at New York University. Through these opportunities, Rebekah has participated on-stage and behind the scenes in university productions and regional theater in Washington, DC, and in Off-Broadway productions in New York City. As an instructor, Rebekah has worked with children and young adults in schools and institutions across the DC area, and also recently in the New York City area in children’s theatre and Theaters for Young Audiences.
